Ninja Kid: From Nerd to Ninja

Meet Nelson, a geek. Misfit, uncool, and totally awkward. But that all changes when he wakes up on his tenth birthday, and he is a ninja! How will he ever save the world when he cannot even get his undies on the right way. And is his dad maybe still out there? He is going to have to face his worst fear, spiders - just huge giant spiders. Will he and Kenny (his cousin) get through it together? What I liked

• I loved how Nelson, the biggest nerd ever is actually a ninja. And boy, how is Kenny so skinny when he eats so much.

What I didn’t like

• I do not like how it is just so weird with the gadgets and stuff. Also Rich Guy is such a jerk.

Verdict

Thrills 5, comedy 4, story 5. Good if you like funny books with ninjas and weird gadgets.
